Questions, before you decide.
What Fredo can and cannot do, how replies are counted, and what happens at a limit.
- No. It cannot take a booking, cancel one, issue a refund, change a price or open a door. It is given no ability to act, and a reply that tries to invoke one is refused before it reaches you. It writes words; you or a rule you set decide what happens next.
- It stops. Fredo answers from your guide rather than from general knowledge, so when your guide does not cover something it hands the thread to you and tells the guest their host has been asked. A question it cannot answer costs you nothing.
- Only if you switch that on, and only on the plans that include it. Everywhere else it drafts and waits for you. You can put a property back to drafting at any time, and nothing is left queued behind the switch.
- Anything you mark as withheld — a door code, an alarm code, a neighbour’s number — is checked against every answer before it is sent, by exact match rather than by asking the model to be careful. The guest app is held to stricter checks than your own composer, because it is the side you are not watching.
- No. A message is sent to our model provider to produce one answer and is not kept by them to train anything. We do not put prompts, messages or answers into our own logs or monitoring either. The provider is named in the privacy page, along with everyone else who touches your data.
- One answer sent to a guest. Your own replies are free, so is a draft you never send, and so is a message an agent hands back to you. A run that goes wrong costs nothing: one unit is held before an agent starts, then either spent or returned when it finishes.
- No. The guest app has its own monthly allowance, counted per property, and it never draws on the one your agents use. A busy guest cannot cost you your own composer.
- Agents stop sending and go back to drafting. Nothing is dropped and guests never see an error. You are told which limit you reached and when it resets, rather than that something is unavailable. It resets on the first of the month.
- Because most of what Fredo does for a six-property host it does once for the account, not six times: the guide, the agents, the inbox, the connections. Charging six times over would be simpler and unfair. The base covers the account and the rate per property falls as you grow. Prices are in pounds or euros, whichever your account is set to, and exclude VAT.
- You choose a plan, or the account pauses. Fourteen days, no card, and it never turns into a paid subscription on its own. Nothing is deleted while it is paused.
- No. A link in the booking opens the guide on their phone. There is no download and no account, and the last version they were shown stays on the device, so it still opens with no signal.
- Your guide and every thread, exported in one click, on any day. There is no notice period and no exit fee, and deletion is a button in Settings rather than an email to us.
